Galdi's Service Business Unit in Russia turns 10!
This year we are delighted to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Galdi's Service Business Unit in Russia. Ten years marked by growth and improvements, and surely the credit for this goes to our great Moscow-based team!
They have become the point of reference for new customer inquiries and technical support needs and thanks to their hard work Galdi is now well-known on the Russian market and in the whole CIS area.
Here are some of the milestones on our journey so far.
SUPER EFFICIENT LOGISTICS
When the Service Center was set up, the first goal for our Russia-based team was to build an efficient spare parts’ logistics system from scratch.
With the spare parts warehouse in Moscow, we wanted to offer local customers short delivery times. To achieve this goal, proper logistics management and the implementation of tracking systems were key, as well as regular system and process updates.
Today our Moscow's warehouse is replenished regularly and has enough spares in stock to deal with potential emergencies.
First result: no need to worry about spare parts!
CUSTOMER SERVICE SHAPES RELATIONSHIPS

Adopting this approach and striving for efficiency, Galdi Russia managed to win the trust of local customers, delivering on one of Galdi's highest priorities: production stability and reliability.
The team also deserves special credit for reducing urgent service calls. They achieved this by showing and convincing customers that planned maintenance is cheaper and more reliable down the line!
Second result: fillers running trouble-free in the long term.
NEW SOLUTIONS FOR NEW REQUIREMENTS
Growing over time, Galdi Russia has made a name for itself as a high-quality solution provider among manufacturers in the dairy industry.
Furthermore, seizing the opportunities offered by Galdi's innovations and technologies, the team also set out to promote packaging solutions for other liquid food products, including juice, liquid egg and wine, and in dry form, like flour, grains, sugar and spices.
While contributing to Gruppo Galdi's evolution from supplier of filling machines to Solution Provider for the food industry, Galdi Russia managed to fulfil one last requirement, as local customers wanted to be able to rely on a single point of contact for complete packaging line solutions, getting continued support throughout the process, from the packaging idea to the product on the shelf.
The ultimate goal of Galdi's Service Business Unit in Russia was to combine the quality of Galdi's made in Italy packaging solutions with a locally-based, high added-value support service.
