Galdi 2024 Sustainability Report: numbers, results, people

2024 was a year of great growth for Galdi, increasingly chosen by international partners who share with us an active commitment to ESG issues.

We are therefore pleased to present Galdi's Sustainability Report 2024, which contains all the initiatives implemented during the year within our Sustainable Development journey.

As we do every year, we thank employees, suppliers and all stakeholders whose actions, ideas and work contributed to the achievement of these results.

As key partners in the development of Galdi's sustainable path, in recent years we have increased the direct involvement of our suppliers on ESG issues.

The goal is to actively collaborate to achieve common goals, giving full support to solutions leading to shared improvement in sustainability.

With this vision, a number of strategic actions were implemented in 2024, including:

• "Sustainable supply chain: winning relationships" event: an opportunity for direct dialogue and discussion with our suppliers to share and promote virtuous practices along the value chain, from impact reduction to supply chain optimization.

• Establishment of the Code of Conduct: drafted in line with international standards, the Code defines behavior guidelines aimed at suppliers to support us in our sustainability goals.

• ESG Assessment Tool: this tool helps measure the degree of maturity of our supply chain on ESG issues by assessing the different areas: Governance, Social, Environment.

In line with Galdi's guiding principles, the "Organization, Management and Control Model" under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001 was adopted in 2024.

Following the introduction of the Code of Ethics in 2023, this is one more step toward legality and transparency, to continue to maintain and build trust with our stakeholders by promoting virtuous behavior internally and monitoring possible violations.

This is possible thanks to the active input, shared principles and values of the entire team, which was enriched by 16 new staff members in 2024.

New colleagues have been enthusiastically welcomed and have already become familiar with the stimulating, inclusive, and wellness-conscious environment that is part of Galdi spirit.

Confirming the importance of employees' quality of life in every aspect, in 2024 we further renewed our commitment with the Family Audit standard, dedicated to work-family balance.

Improvement is always generated by people.

Thanks to the efforts of our employees and suppliers, we significantly improved our sustainability performance in 2024 compared to the previous year.

Witnessing this progress is undoubtedly the achievement of Ecovadis' Silver Sustainability Rating (72 points out of 100), with the highest score achieved in the Environment Area.

We are already working to achieve a higher rating in 2025, as signaled by the Goals for the current year, shared in our Sustainability Report.

In view of 2025, a project is also already underway that will lead to the expansion of the production area starting in September, with the construction of a new building certified LEED(R) Gold, like our Galdi Village.

Galdi is growing and continues to do so under the banner of sustainability, increasing its international competitiveness while contributing to the realization of a more sustainable, responsible and ethical future.

A challenge we share with more and more companies around the world and are honored to pursue year after year.
