Galdi hosted an event for a stronger, more integrated and competitive supply chain

From easier access to credit to common benefit goals: together with our suppliers, for shared growth. Find out more about the event held at the Galdi Village, a place to fill

On Wednesday, 17 May 2023, we hosted an event for our suppliers organised in cooperation with Intesa San Paolo, titled "The Importance of the Supply Chain."

The event - which was held at the Galdi Village, a place to fill - was very well attended, with the Auditorium filled to capacity and, most importantly, active audience participation.

The topic really resonated with the audience, and it was exciting to see that business relationships are maturing into lasting, quality partnerships that can lead to shared growth, not only in production, but also in projects aimed at responsible development.

Galdi's recently becoming a Benefit Corporation - with the inclusion of common benefit goals in its Charter - has only formally confirmed the company's strong desire and commitment to build relationships based on trust with partners in the supply chain and all stakeholders involved.


Confirming: financial support for our suppliers


Providing our suppliers with tools that provide additional guarantees and security is one of the benefits of the Intesa Sanpaolo Supply Chain Development Program we are part of, which also includes the Confirming digital platform.

By participating in the program and being part of a certified supply chain, members can benefit from better financial conditions (e.g.: request advance payment of invoices to the bank, using a simple and intuitive web application), in order to protect their investments and production capacity.

By being part of the supply chain, the supplier's credit rating improves, with additional benefits when it comes to potential investments.

The meeting was also a valuable opportunity to focus on the value of the supply chain and on the importance of sharing forces and goals to grow together.

During the meeting, two suppliers that have joined the Intesa San Paolo's program shared their experience with Alessandro Gobbo, Galdi's Purchasing Manager, who spoke about Galdi's decision to become the leading company in the supply chain and its role in developing initiatives to support suppliers.

Synergies, shared growth and common goals to create a "premium supply chain" are also Galdi’s goals as a Benefit Corporation.

We strongly believe that sharing the same principles with our suppliers, also on issues related to ethics and sustainability, is an additional opportunity for discussion and growth!
